The Company
Specializing in ferrous and non-ferrous ornamental metal fabrication,
the staff of Virginia Architectural Metals brings more than a century of experience and
international recognition to its clients. As a family-owned and operated
business, customer satisfaction and personal pride are the driving forces behind
our work. Whether working with architects and designers or directly with
owners, VAMetals has the expertise to offer technical and artistic
guidance in all stages of a project, from budgeting and drafting to fabrication
and installation.
"If you can dream it, we can build it"... VAMetals accepts the
challenges of your creativity.
The Achievements
Our goal is to make our name synonymous with the highest standard in quality
and workmanship, and the following achievements help to solidify this
relationship.
|

|
-
VAMetals has achieved international recognition from the
National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals
Association. NOMMA is comprised of over 1000 member
firms from the USA and abroad. Selected by its peers, VAMetals
received a Bronze Award for Exterior Metals Fabrication at its Annual
Convention in 1999.
-
The Batten Library at Norfolk Academy received an architectural award
from American Schools and Universities Magazine in 2000. Our steel and
glass railings were a focal point in over 90% of the library pictures that appeared
with the article.
-
Numerous articles about our work have graced the pages of the Free-Lance
Star, a local newspaper. Betsy Rodrigue's article, "Go To Plan B",
was published in
Fabricator, the leading magazine for the ornamental metals industry.
Fabricator editors now send
copies of her article to new contributors as a guideline for
their submissions to the trade magazine.
Despite our achievements, we pride ourselves on remaining a small,
personalized organization, and feel that our work speaks for itself. We
invite you to visit our Gallery and decide for yourself
what our craftsmanship and your imagination can combine to achieve.
